Who we are
IDtech is a Belgian physical security company founded in 1985.
For over four decades, we have designed and manufactured access control hardware and software in Europe - building a reputation for reliability, technical depth, and close collaboration with our customers and partners.
From the start, our mission has been clear: to help organisations manage the flow and safety of people across sensitive environments, with solutions that are reliable, future-proof, and compliant with the most demanding regulatory standards.
A new chapter in 2020
In 2020, Christophe Boulanger and Christophe Vaessen took the helm at IDtech, bringing with them a renewed ambition and a clear strategic vision.
Under their leadership, IDtech has significantly increased its investment in R&D, recruited new talent, and accelerated the development of its product ecosystem.
In 2023, the company has grown its international presence with a customer support office in Dubai and extended its offer into Time & HR Management with the launch of Moti.
In 2025, IDtech introduced a new generation of access controllers, the 500 Series, built on a modular architecture designed to incorporate tomorrow's security technologies today.
