Unitour : the IDtech module for managing Security Patrols
Unitour has two objectives : protecting and ensuring the safety of guards, isolated during the course of their security patrols, and enabling the site security manager to check that the patrols are carried out correctly.
The Unitour module is a simple, user-friendly interface that provides effective management of security and surveillance patrols in your company.
Each patrol route is defined by points on the route, a time, a route duration and a tolerance. The points on the route at which the guard must check in may be either badge readers or detectors (contacts, keys, push-buttons...) connected to the IDtech hardware network.
For each check-point on the route, Unitour records :
- The planned check-in time : When the guard checks in at the start point, the planned time for the following points is recalculated and changed according to the start time and the journey times entered in the Unitour configuration.
- The time at which the guard reaches the check-in point and an indication of whether the patrol is going ahead or has been interrupted.
- A «Patrol late» alarm signal indicates that the guard should have checked in at this point, but did not do so within the tolerance allowed in the configuration.
- An alarm message also indicates whether the guard is early or late.
- If a guard passes a check-in point without checking in but continues the patrol to a later point, the status will be set to «Point skipped».
Unitour provides the history of all events associated with patrols and the option of generating reports.
