Uniguard: an integrated access control/intrusion and fire detection platform
The Uniguard platform makes it possible to combine the security and safety
infrastructure from several different buildings in a single graphical interface
that can be accessed by several operators. Each intrusion or fire detection system
communicates with Uniguard via a communication port or via Ethernet. The user is
kept informed in real time by a powerful tool for tracing alarms and events, and is
no longer limited by geographical constraints.
Integration between Uniguard and the intrusion and fire detection systems makes it possible to:
- Define what individual operators are allowed to do
- Manage alarm points (intrusion, fire, panic, hold-up, device, network etc.)
- Create schedules and processing priorities
- View statuses (Normal, Deactivated, Excluded, testing)
- Pick up different types of alarm (intrusion, sabotage, hardware, pre-alert, alert)
- Send commands (arm, enter test mode, leave test mode)
- Manage alarms using groups
- Generate processes (display, remote transmission, e-mail, SMS, siren, flash, commands, CCTV etc.)
- Control how events are acknowledged
- Allow operators to enter alarm reports
- Authorize forced arming
- Reset devices
- Zoom in on plans
- Activate the different access
- Control cameras and domes
